Using Social Technologies as Teaching Tools Day 3

Class,

Another good day yesterday. I'm glad we got started (it's only because I'm nervous about the time line). You all know how quickly time gets sucked up by a sponge when something goes wrong-the little deadly glitch.

I promised you some links that would lead to "podsafe music"; well here they are:

http://www.podsafeaudio.com/

This morning I loaded a variety (genre) of music files from a number of sites for you to use if you don't want to get sucked down into the quicksand. You won't have to do a search-they're already there if you hear any you like it'll be a big time saver.

Here's how to get there:

Go to My Network Places, then put this address in the window <\\lnpdt1> without the < > of course. Press the "enter" key and then look for the folder entitled LNPD Class. Open it and you'll see our folder which is named after the class, Social_Technologies. When you open that one you'll see two music related folders. Look there first to see if anything strikes you. BTW there are some spoken word files as well (a few) and if you open one just close it and move on down the buffet line to something else.

more to follow...
